Old
Media and New Media
Connecting to get the message across.
As
a multilingual journalist, writer and editor both offline
and online, I see new media as just another language, as just another means to
communicate. I
bridge the gap between print and the web to get better content that leads to better
communications no matter the platform. I offer editorial services that
help you get the message across. The
changes facing print journalism are not a threat but an opportunity of collaboration
between new and old, between news and in-depth, between timely and timeless.
In
my writing, I address the
global angle, since foreign media offer views that may elude the US mainstream
and vice versa. Political
events and cultural tastes are perceived differently. So
are interfaith- and inter cultural issues. Here too, I bridge the gap.
To
quote the novelist David Grossman: "We write. The world is not closing
in on us. How fortunate we are. The world is not growing increasingly narrow." Or
as the journalist Red Smith once said: "Writing is easy. All you do is
sit down [...] and open a vein." Read
